  The word “trifle” comes from the old French term “trufle,” and literally means something whimsical.  An English trifle is made with real egg custard poured over sponge cake soaked in fruit and sherry and topped with whipped cream. Deviled whipped eggs

  Ingredients  3 Boiled eggs, this gives you 6 halves; 1 Tablespoon of creamy mayonnaise; Chopped parsley; Chopped spring onion; Black pepper; Salt to taste; Chopped chilli to taste; and Pinch of paprika fro garnish.
